Located directly across the Bay of California from Cabo San Lucas on the Mexican mainland, the area around Sinaloa Surf Adventures is a magnet for south and southwest swells. Ranging from hollow A-frame beach breaks to incredible world class point breaks, surfers of all ability levels will get a thrill of a lifetime. The point breaks offer truly remarkable waves that can wrap for more than 300 yards. Most of the areas we surf are all sand bottom. Water temperatures hover around 75-85 degrees from May through November. In April, a vest or spring suit may be desirable. Typically there is always an off-shore flow in the morning that lasts until early afternoon.
There are over 10 spots the camp has access to via our two fully-outfitted super pangas or our four trucks. Typically, we send two boats of eight people out daily. All spots are reachable within 30 minutes of the lodge. Due to our crew's years of swell, wind, and tide knowledge, in addition to our ability to move you quickly, we put you on the waves. Most of the time, it will only be the other seven guys in your group out in the water. Crowds are not an issue at SSA. SSA is open from April 1st through mid- November. Our objective is to maximize your surf time.
*5:30AM TO 6:00AM – Breakfast
*7:30AM to approx. 1:00PM – Morning surf session (we don’t come in until the last man is in the boat)
*1:30PM TO 2:30PM – Lunch
*2:30 PM TO 7:00PM – Relax, nap or surf
*7:00PM TO 7:30PM – Dinner
7:30 PM – Watch surf videos, read, shoot pool, etc.
Repeat daily schedule for six days!!!
No matter where you are thinking about going on your surf vacation, you should stop and consider SSA. As most surf areas are becoming more and more crowed (even the "brand name" destinations), SSA has made it a point to limit the number of surfers you will be in the water with. We can guarantee it won't be crowded!
SSA also realizes cost is an issue, and our price equation along with the cheap, fast flight from California is unmatched.

A special thank you to those of our family members that put these together.
